Can you integrate with our existing eCommerce platform or custom system?
Yes. The configurator is built to work with the system you already use rather than replace it. Integration can cover product data, pricing, saved configurations, cart, quote or order flows, subject to the APIs and access available in your platform.
Can you create the 3D models as well as the configurator?
Yes. 3D model and material production, browser optimization and the configurator itself can all be included in the project. We can assess existing CAD or 3D assets and determine what can be reused, rebuilt or optimized.
What do you need from us to estimate the project?
Share an example product, its options and any rules about which options work together. Include the approximate number of models, available CAD or 3D files, your current platform and what customers should be able to do. We will review these details and identify any gaps before estimating the work.
Is this approach suitable for a single product?
It is strongest when the first configurator can become a reusable foundation for a product family or catalog. A single complex or high-value product can still be a good fit, but a simple one-off model will not always justify a custom implementation.
Can the configurator handle dependencies and dynamic pricing?
Yes. Rules can control which options are available, required or incompatible. Prices can be calculated by your platform or by the configurator. We agree where pricing is managed and how changes are passed between systems.
Will the configurator work on mobile devices?
Mobile use is considered from the start. Models, textures, loading and interaction are tested against the target devices, with visual quality balanced against file size, responsiveness and rendering performance.
How long does a project take?
The schedule depends on the number and complexity of the products, the state of the source assets, the option rules, UI requirements and integration work. After discovery, the project can be divided into milestones with clear review points and a realistic delivery schedule.
What happens after launch?
Post-launch work can include fixes, platform updates, new options, additional product models and further development. The initial support period and any ongoing arrangement are agreed as part of the project scope.
Can you work under an NDA?
Yes. Confidentiality and NDA requirements can be agreed before sensitive product or system information is shared. The public demos on this site are Jets3D examples and do not expose confidential client implementations.
